Here's a super quick and easy 'Make it' project for you, a sweet Valentines card, but lets face it we would be thrilled to receive it at any time!!
So here you go, you will need:
~ a square card blank or simply make your own from a sheet of card, ours measured 6" square
~ a fabric scrap cut to 5" square
~ a small piece of felt
~ a button
~ heart template (below)
To print this pattern, highlight the picture above, then 'Right' click on your mouse, then select 'open in a new window' and then print using the keys 'CTRL' and 'P'
Step 1 - cut a heart out of felt and pin it to the centre of your fabric
Step 2 - machine your heart in place, here you can use your creativity. We stitched ours using contrasting thread or you may choose to applique yours by hand using blanket stitch as shown below or even a running stitch would look fab!
Sew the button in place
Step 3 - Using a very small bit of glue or temporary spray adhesive, lighty glue your fabric square to the front of your card blank, take care not to over glue! Using contrasting thread, machine through all layers aprox 1/4" from the outer edge.
Step 4 - finally pull all your ends through and neatly knott off
Ta Da, that's it you're finished, now all you need do is decide who you are going to give it too!
